Master Rilwan Arojojoye

This five-year-old boy,Rilwan Arojojoye, was spotted helping his father in an event management venture toward the launching of JATTO 102.7 FM and Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello Multimedia House on Thursday at the Confluence Stadium, Lokoja.
He did the job with a sense of satisfaction, garnished with infectious smiles, gaining experience as the basis for self employment and self reliance in the nearest future,rather than scouting for the elusive white-collar job in Nigeria.
His father, Mr Rufus Arojojoye,who supplied the plastic seats for the occasion, said he introduced Rilwan and his siblings to event management business to instill in them the need to realise from tender age, the imperative of self reliance by developing entrepreneurial spirit.
Arojojoye blamed some parents for not inculcating the culture of self reliance in their children right from render age,a development he noted contributed to unemployment and crime in the society today.
” My late father, a very rich individual during his time, did not spoil us but trained me and my siblings in one trade or the other so that when there no white-coller job, we can stand on our own and make a living and even be employers of labour.
“This is the best way I think parents can train their children, especially now that government job is very hard to come,” he said.
