Edo 2020: Kogi survives Team Bayelsa Chess player scare

Kogi State female Athlete Ayisha Suleiman has beaten her opponent from Bayelsa State to qualify for the next round chess event.

The game was held at the University of Benin banquet hall Ugbowo, Edo State.

Ayisha, who is a nation team chess player, is expected to meet a yet to be known opponent on Thursday at exactly 9am.

Over the years, the 19 years old athlete had won medals for Kogi State and Nigeria.

Shortly after winning gold medal for Kogi State in the last Sports Festival in Abuja, she went further to represent Nigeria in an international competition in Ghana, were she also made the country proud by winning Gold Medal.
