Queenayo Ohunene Onumo
Lagos-based kogi state born hippop musician, Queeyano Ogunene Onumo, (14), has solicited promotion and sponsorship from wealthy members of the public in Nigeria to enable her attain greater heights in her chosen profession.
She made the appeal in an interview with the correspondent of The Reporters in Lokoja before performance at the launch of JATTO 102 7FM and Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello Multimedia House in Lokoja on Thursday.
The musician, who disclosed that she had 40 singles to her credit and started singing at the age of 7, said;” I have a lot of potential waiting to be tapped but can’t do this effectively unless I see spirited members of the public to either promote or sponsor me.
” I get inspiration from my environment and I this I have been doing in my little to convey my message to boost the entertainment industry in the country.
“I will be happy if members of the public can promote and sponsor me so that achieve my aim in the entertainment industry in Nigeria and beyond the shores of Nigeria.
Our correspondent, who covered the launch reports that the Queeyano, who is from kogi central Senatorial district of the state and who plays inspirational and hippop music later performed to the admiration of the audience at the occasion many of who responded by showering her with money.
