The Muslim Ummah of South West Nigeria (MUSWEN) on Sunday joined millions of Nigerians in celebrating President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as he clocked 74, showering him with warm felicitations, prayers, and glowing tributes.

In a goodwill message marking the President’s birthday, the influential Islamic umbrella body described the occasion as a moment not only for celebration but also for reflection on a lifetime of service, resilience, and leadership.

The message, jointly signed by MUSWEN President, Rasaki Oladejo, and Executive Secretary, Wole Abbas in Ibadan on Sunday, highlighted Tinubu’s enduring contributions to Nigeria’s democratic journey.

The group praised the President as a pro-democracy icon whose political career has been defined by courage, sacrifice, and a steadfast commitment to national progress.

According to MUSWEN, Tinubu’s leadership trajectory reflects a deep-rooted dedication to strengthening democratic institutions and fostering stability in the country.

“As President Tinubu marks this milestone, we join well-wishers across the nation in celebrating a visionary leader whose impact continues to shape Nigeria’s socio-political landscape,” the statement read.

Beyond the accolades, MUSWEN offered heartfelt prayers for the President, seeking divine guidance and renewed strength for the task of governance.

The faith-based group prayed that Almighty Allah grants him increased wisdom, sound health, and the resilience needed to navigate the complexities of leadership.

It also expressed hope that the policies of the administration would yield tangible benefits for citizens, bringing about lasting peace, unity, and shared prosperity across the nation.

While celebrating the President’s personal milestone, MUSWEN reaffirmed its commitment to promoting social justice, equity, and harmonious coexistence among Nigerians, regardless of religious or ethnic backgrounds.

The group urged the President to continue prioritizing these values as a guiding principle of his administration.

Our correspondent reports that the birthday message added to the chorus of tributes pouring in from across the country, turning the President’s 74th anniversary into a moment of national reflection, prayer, and renewed optimism for the future.
