Dr. Amb. Idoko Bartholomew Chukwuma.
The Chief Executive Officer of Benid Industries Limited, Dr. Amb. Idoko Bartholomew Chukwuma, on Tuesday announced the company’s partnership with Sanity Multi-Efforts Limited (SMEL), under the Directorate of Prince Dan. Olaitan Dada, to promote lawful, transparent, and standardized revenue administration across the 36 States of Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory.

This partnership is in support of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and the Presidential Tax Reform Policy of 2025–2026, which seeks to eliminate multiple taxation, end illegal roadblocks, and boost Internally Generated Revenue through cashless, harmonized systems.

Speaking on the partnership at the office of SMEL in Lokoja Dr. Idoko Bartholomew stated:

“Benid Industries Limited is a proudly Nigerian company. We believe in Nigeria’s growth. We believe in paying every lawful levy that supports our States and our Nation.

“Through our partnership with Sanity Multi-Efforts Limited (SMEL), we have joined other stakeholders to seek one thing from all 36 State Internal Revenue Services, including the FCT: Official Clarification. Tell us the lawful levies. Tell us the approved channels. Publish the legal instruments. Our company, and thousands of commercial and inscribed/branded vehicles we represent, will comply fully.

“This is not a protest. This is public service. This is support for Internally Generated Revenue. This is a fight against all forms of illegality, extortion, roadblocks, and multiple taxation that the new Tax Reform speaks against.

“We respectfully solicit all State Internal Revenue Services across Nigeria to respond to the stakeholders’ letter written through Sanity Multi-Efforts Limited (SMEL). The letter’s subject, ‘Notice of Non-Payment Pending Official Clarification of Lawful Levies on Commercial and Branded Vehicles’, is a call for dialogue, not conflict.

“We appeal to every Internal Revenue Service Executive Chairman: Please accord stakeholders the expected official response.
Clarity helps business.
Clarity grows IGR.
Clarity protects innocent commercial vehicle road users who daily serve this nation.

“Benid Industries Limited stands for Law.
We stand for Safety.
We stand for Sanity on Nigerian roads.

“Our message to drivers and fleet owners nationwide is simple:

“Do not argue on the road.
Do not pay cash to impostors.
Wait for your State’s official reply.
Pay only into treasury accounts.
Report illegal collectors to security agencies.

“This is how we build the Nigeria we want, together.

BACKGROUND:
“Benid Industries Limited operates a large commercial fleet across Nigeria. Like many companies, organizations, churches, associations, unions, manufacturers, and individual transporters, we face daily harassment from unauthorized persons imposing levies that contradict the tiers of Government, harmonized revenue laws, and the Joint Revenue Board Communiqué of December 9–10, 2025.

“Rather than remain silent or resort to unlawful means, we have chosen lawful partnership and engagement. The stakeholders’ letter now being circulated nationwide through SMEL is the first step toward a harassment-free operating environment for commerce and transportation in Nigeria.

“Nigerian drivers and owners of commercial and inscribed/branded vehicles say: Sanity Must Be It.

Signed:
Dr. Amb. Idoko Bartholomew Chukwuma.
