The Executive Council and entire members of the Magongo Development Association (MDA) have expressed their heartfelt condolences to the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, on the passing of his beloved father, Alhaji Momohsani Ododo, who died on Monday in Abuja at the age of 83.

In a condolence message signed by its National President, Prince Jordan Alaba Akpata, and made available to The Reporters in Lokoja on Tuesday, the Association described the death of the Governor’s father as a painful loss, while urging the Governor and the entire Ododo family to take solace in the will of God.

Prince Akpata noted that the late patriarch was more than a father to his biological children; he was a guide, a mentor, and a source of inspiration to many within and outside the family circle.

He added that Alhaji Momohsani Ododo lived an exemplary life, instilling sound moral values in his children and positively influencing younger generations during his lifetime.

According to him, the virtues of discipline, humility, and selfless service which the late octogenarian embodied are clearly reflected in the leadership qualities Governor Ododo continues to demonstrate in steering the affairs of Kogi State.

The Association further encouraged the bereaved family to find comfort in the fact that their patriarch lived a fulfilled life worthy of celebration and emulation.

The MDA prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the departed Alhaji Momohsani Ododo Aljanah Firdaus, and to grant the Governor, his family, and the people of Kogi State the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
