,,,,,, Governor buries his father amid prayers, tributes on Tuesday.

The Executive members and the planning committee of ABU Alumni Association, Kogi state branch,have resolved to shift their forthcoming programme, earlier scheduled for August 23,2025 to September 6, 2025, as a mark of honour to Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, following the death of his father, Alhaji Momohsani Ododo.
Our reports that the decision was reached on Tuesday in Lokoja during an online meeting of the committee ,where members unanimously agreed that the postponement was necessary to commiserate with the Governor and his family during their moment of grief.
Our correspondent further reports that the association has sent its condolences via media to commiserate with the the Governor over the unfortunate incident.
It also mandated that all invited guests be formally notified of the new date, while expressing regret for any inconvenience the development may cause.
