The Olota, however, gave kudos to Governor of the state, Dapo Abiodun, for his quick intervention manifesting in the provision of palliative measures on Lagos-Abeokuta expressway and others within Ota axis.

He acknowledged that “If not for quick intervention of the governor, we would have experienced total collapse of the roads.”

Earlier, the sector commander,Ahmed Umar, said he visited the Oba to solicit his support towards the success of the rally, adding that the sector took the 2022 rally to Ota in view of its social and economic importance to the state as exemplified by the large number of industries in the town, coupled with the huge vehicular and human movements.
