The Kogi State Chapter of Jama’atu Nasril Islam(JNI), has called on Muslims in the state to imbibe the spirit of complete submission to Allah, as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim.
The organization gave the advice in a message to mark the celebration of Eidil Adha, signed by its chairman, Amb. Usman Bello and Secretary, Alhaji Isa Adeboye in Lokoja on Friday and a copy made available to The Reporters.
The Islamic body called for continued peace in the state, noting that “there is no alternative to peaceful co- existence.”
JNI congratulated the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello and members of his cabinet, for the opportunity to witness yet another Eid and stressed the need for sustained prayers for the growth of Kogi State.
The chairman and the secretary further urged Muslims to celebrate the Eid with sober reflections and decorum.
