ABU Alumni Association, Kogi Branch, Mourns with Elder Tutu Over Wife’s Death

The Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Alumni Association, Kogi State branch, has commiserated with one of its members,Elder Moses Tutu, over the death of his wife, Mrs.Tutu.

In a condolence letter dated August 22, 2025, and signed by the Secretary of the branch, and a copy available to The Reporters in Lokoja on Friday,Mr. Yahaya Aminu Maihankuri, the Association expressed deep sorrow at the demise of Mrs. Tutu, describing her passing as a painful loss.

The Association, which noted that Mrs. Tutu was a vital part of her husband’s life and that her absence would be deeply felt,urged Elder Tutu to take solace in the precious memories and strong bond he shared with his late wife.

“We are greatly saddened by the news of her demise, and we are thinking of you and your family during this profoundly difficult time. While the depth of your grief is unimaginable, please know that you are not alone as we share your sorrow,” the Association stated.

It further prayed for God’s comfort, strength, and consolation for Elder Tutu and his family as they come to terms with the loss.

“May her soul find eternal repose in the bosom of the Lord,” the letter added.
