The Deputy Governor, Comrade Joel Salifu was among the dignitaries who attended the burial ceremony, joining Governor Ododo and former Governor Yahaya Bello in paying their last respects to the late patriarch.

Security was tightened in Adavi and Okene Local Government Areas as security personnel worked tirelessly to maintain order and ensure a smooth procession of mourners.

The burial ceremony, commenced at the residence of the deceased in Kabba Junction and was attended by top government officials, traditional leaders, journalists, and residents. The late Alhaji Ahmed Momoh Sani Ododo’s remains were brought from Abuja for the Islamic funeral prayers before interment

In a show of solidarity, government officials and traditional leaders came together to console Governor Ododo and his family during this difficult time.

The Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Fanwo, confirmed the passing of the governor’s father, describing him as a devout Muslim who would be buried in line with Islamic traditions.
