Over 52 African countries are gearing up to tune into the Jumabee Inspires Concert, a spectacular three-day music and entertainment event scheduled to hold in Lokoja, Kogi State, from June 19 to 21, 2025.

The exciting announcement was made on Monday at the NUJ Press Centre, Lokoja, by Mr. Junwon Oloruniipa, Special Adviser to the Kogi State Governor on Arts and Culture, during an interactive session with journalists.

Olorunipa, who is also known for song writering and singing, revealed that the idea for the Jumabee Inspires Concert was conceived by him six years ago with a mission to boost the entertainment landscape in Kogi State.

Beyond music, the concert has grown into a broader social impact initiative, featuring activities such as scholarships to 300 students and charity matches, rehabilitation of five correctional centres and orphanages, among others to support community development.

According to him, the concert, headlined by Kogi-born music sensation Jumabee concert, has entered a new era of continental recognition thanks to a strategic partnership with ETV, one of Nigeria’s leading television stations.

“Last year, ETV provided us with over 15 broadcast slots, and over 57 million Nigerians watched the event This year, we’ve expanded that partnership to 30 slots, opening the doors for viewers in 52 African countries to enjoy the show,”he said.

He emphasized the importance of media support, urging journalists to help spotlight the event’s growing cultural significance and positive impact on the youth.

Entertainment enthusiasts believe that with its mix of music, philanthropy, and a fast-growing African audience, the Jumabee Inspires Concert 2025 is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated entertainment experiences, not only in Kogi, Nigeria but on African continent.
