Some Abusites took to the dancing floor with hot steps in response to “Bugawon music” and other beautiful renditions,reminiscence of dancing competition, as part of socilisation that characterised the colourful occasion.
The Gala night marking the 16th Annual General Assembly of the Ahmadu Bello University ,Zaria on Friday.
The three-event taking place at Samaru campus,has all the state branches of ABU Alumi Association in 36 states of the federation and FCT in attendance.
The event witnessed good will messages,spoken words, stressing unity among Nigerians, irrespective of tribe and tongue.
The occasion also provided opportunity for the alumni, who have not seen each other for years, to fraternise, socialise and make new friends, to move ABU Alumni Association forward.
Our correspondent reports that alumni members will elect new executive council menbers of their association on Saturday.

He promised the alumni, that he would ensure transformational leadership to move the association to next level of realistic development.
Our correspondent reports that Mahnud is the National Publicity Secretary of the outgoing association whose tenure ends on Saturday.
