The Commissioner of Police in Kogi State, CP Miller Dantawaye, has extended heartfelt condolences to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo over the death of his father, Alhaji Ahmed Sani Ododo, who passed away on Monday in Abuja at the age of 83.

In a condolence message issued on behalf of the command and signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP William Ovye Aya, on Tuesday, the police chief said the sad news was received with deep shock and pain by officers and men of the command.

CP Dantawaye described the late Alhaji Ahmed MomohSani Ododo as “a remarkable individual who touched many lives positively,” noting that his impact and legacy will continue to resonate among the people of Kogi State and beyond.

According to him, the Command share in the governor’s grief, but the joy is that, the late Alhaji Ahmed Sani Ododo lived a life of value and meaning, adding that his memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.

The Commissioner assured Governor Ododo and his family of the command’s prayers and support during this period of mourning, urging them to take solace in the fond memories and enduring legacies of the late patriarch.

“May Allah grant him eternal rest, and may His mercy and peace be with the bereaved family,” CP Dantawaye prayed.
