A Nigerian man, Obinna Igbokwe, in Texas, has shot his American wife in the head, killed Mother-in-law and Fled with 3-month-old-son and later died of self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The Nigerian Standard newspaper reports that the coupleâs 14-year-old son witnessed shooting, ran to a neighborâs house for help.
It said that the suspect drove off with infant son in a 2008 white Honda Accord that triggered an AMBER Alert, while on the run, dropped the child off in a car seat at a local hotel.
âAt about 1:05 am, Ennis Police Department Officers located the white Honda Igbokwe was driving and attempted to stop the vehicle. After a short pursuit, the Honda stopped in a parking lot where officers observed and heard a single gunshot come from the interior of the Honda”
Law enforcement officers began life-saving measures and summoned medical personnel, but due to the severity of the injury Igbokwe succumbed to his wounds at a Dallas Hospital at about 5:20 amâ, Montgomery County
