Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa state has dissolved the state executive council, having announced the dissolution at a special executive council meeting, held at the Government House on Monday.
Sule also announced the dissolution of his special advisers, senior special assistants, except for those manning humanitarian services and sustainable development goals.
The governor thanked the appointees for their commitment and services rendered to the administration, stressing that his administration will continue to count on their support in the future.
Speaking on behalf of the former appointees, Associate Professor Abdukarim Abubakar, who until now was the state Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, thanked the governor for giving them the opportunity to serve the state and his administration.
Professor Kana assured the governor of their continued support ahead of the 2023 general elections.
