Job creation, my cardinal point to check youth restiveness, if—-Ezeemo

A frontline Governorship aspirant in the November 6 Governorship election in Anambra State, Mr Godwin Ezeemo,has promised to make job creation his cardinal agenda, if voted into power to check youths restiveness in the state.

Ezeemo made the promise while addressing some delegates from his political party, the People’s Democratic Party(PDP), in Umuchu, his town in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra on Friday.

He said that curbing crime and bringing about quality security could only be achieved through job creation, saying that it behooves on the delegates of the party to cast their votes to a visionary aspirant, the quality he represents in all ramifications.

“ Money bags politicians are a must watch for the delegates to ensure that they are not confused, come June 26, when the PDP holds its primary election.

“Delegates, you are the electors of a governor or president, the power is in your hand, yes, times are hard economically but you have the power to vote in a visionary person.

“ If you vote a person with creative mind set, might not be super rich monetary wise,but with right visionary ideas, it would mend the wrongs of political jobbers and boost life with developmental ideas,” he said

Ezeemo, an employer of labour in his various companies said that if the youths were engaged properly in governance with various degrees of skilled and unskilled work, the society would be free of mediocres.

The aspirant described as very sad, a situation of continuous increase in the population of young and vibrant men and women, graduates and skilled youths roaming the streets all in attempt to survive

“ There is a solution to that, vote for me and if I become the party flag bearer on my honour with my creative ideas,work would be created for all classes of the youth to do.

“Few weeks ago, I made a case via my twitter handle @officialezeemo, where I stated that Job creation would provide the long anticipated solution to security in our society,” he said .

He said that as an industrialist over the years and in his capacity as an individual, he had done a lot toward Industrialisation which had brought about job creation in Anambra.

“ I have not taken any contract, either from Federal or State government , all of my companies, ranging from Orient Farms, Orient Newspaper and Magazines, Orient plastic, Honeywell hotel ,Freshlife water amongst others,” he added.

He said that all industries he set up in Anambra state have created over 20,000 direct and indirect employment in the state which at a large extent had provided a source of living to the workers and helped to keep so many youths off the street.

Ezeemo informed the delegates that if they vote for him during the primaries,they would have succeeded in reducing crime to the barest minimum in the state and engaged youths with valuable jobs and helped build a society.

He said that as an international business man, he had traveled and been to many advanced states in the world, and is obvious that job creation played a role in reducing crime and other related vices in the society.

Ezeemo said that if the delegates vote for him,they would have voted a man who believe in giant strides of infustrislisation and its development in all areas of the economy where average person in Anambra would boast of enjoying the desired standard of living condition.

“ The future of the growth and development of Anambra state is in the hands of you all, the delegates, therefore, I appeal to you to be wise to cast your votes rightly to give your children a hope of a new and better life,” Ezeemo further advised the delegates.

Ezeemo said that all the delegates of PDP in the 21 local government areas of the state had been educated enough on what voter education “stands for and power of right vote.”

“Now is not business as usual,we now know enough of voter rights as such, no excuse for selling of vote to highest bidder,who in turn reap the state off to get back their expenses,then our eyes will shine,had i know will then set in.

“Avoid it now,vote wisely,vote a person with credible sources of living and who is at home with sufferings of the masses and has got solution to their problems.

“Please, have a date with me come June 26,PDP delegates, do not make a second time mistake.”Ezeemo stressed.
