Kogi Security Forces Crush Bandits: Scores Neutralized, Forest Strongholds Destroyed

In a dramatic show of force, joint police and military operations, backed by precision air strikes from the Nigeria Police Airwing, have neutralized scores of bandits and dismantled their networks deep within Kogi forests. The offensive has sent shockwaves through criminal hideouts, flushing out remaining elements and restoring a measure of peace to affected communities.

CSP William Ovye Aya, Police Public Relations Officer , disclosed this in a statement he signed and copied The Reporters in Lokoja on Sunday,calling on residents to stay alert and report anyone with bullet wounds, suspicious behavior, or injuries linked to the recent clashes to the nearest police station.

“Security is a shared responsibility. Together, with credible information, we can keep our communities safe,” he said.
