The happiness of the Koleoso family in Ibadan and Liokoja knew no bound on Sunday, as they led all roads to UMCA Church,Phase housing estate,Lokoja ,Kogi State to mark the 70th birthday of their patriarch,Mr. Ayodeji Boladale Koleoso and to thank God for attaining platinum age.
Our correspondent reports that the family also used the occasion to thank God for the health of the celebrant as well as the the 45th wedding anniversary of Mr.and Mrs.Koleoso.
The colorful ceremony featured sermons and words of admonition ,especially for those on platinum age, by various clerics,special prayer,thanksgiving, messages,cutting of birthday cake and group photograph with the celebrant.
In their various messages, friends and other well wishers at the occasion described the celebrant as “a kind-hearted,love personified,problem solver,orator,articulate,investor in human development and above all,God-fearing person.
Responding to the galore of praises rained him by various persons, the celebrant thanked them for the show of love and appreciation for him.
Mr.Koleoso recalled that though there was a rough time in the journey of his life, he was overwhelmed by God’s glory and protection,adding that God has always been there for him.
He,therefore, solicited continued prayer,from the people, for longevity and success in the years ahead.
Many people,within and outside Lokoja attended the occasion.
