Be committed to upholding unity of Nigeria, security agencies urge NSCDC graduands

Authorities of security agencies in kogi state have appealed to the new graduands of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp, (NSCDC), kogi state Command to be fully committed towards upholding the unity of Nigeria and the protection of lives and properties in the country.

The Commander,Nigerian Army Records, Major-General O.W Ali, represented by Lt.Col Sundaty Enya, Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps, (FRSC), Stephen Dawulung, representatives of NNS Lugard, Department of State Services, (DSS), Correctional Service, Immigration, amongst others, made the appeal during the passing-out of 300 graduands of NSCDC in the state on Monday in their goodwill messages.

Speaking at the event, the Kogi State Commandant, NSCDC,
Suleiman Ibrahim Mafara, whole congratulated the 2019 intakes, commended the Commandant-General, of NSCDC, Abubakar Audi,for ensuring that the 2019 recruits, selection, training and passing-out-parade cane to fruition.

Mafara also appreciated the hard work and dedication put in by the Training Department and instructors; of the agency, adding that from the reports he received, there was ample evidence that “these recruits have been put through the mills and have come out refined and discipline.”

He assured the public the new intake were ready to contribute their quota to the mandate of the Corps, which centres on protecting critical national infrastructure and preserving the nation’s security in collaboration with other sister agencies.

” I congratulate you all for going through this period of training and enduring the difficulties associated with such training.

“| also want to congratulate the families and friends who stood by you, specifically I want to commend HODs, HOUs and instructors for the good job that was perfected within this three months.

“I will not end this speech without thanking other sister agencies for their synergy and collaborations, | will also want to use this medium to thank, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello and his New Direction Team, for assisting the Corps thus far”, he said.
