Members of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) have denied media reports they obtained the All Progressives Congress(APC) presidential form for former President Goodluck Jonathan.
The National Secretary of MACBAN, Baba Othman Ngelzarma, in a statement in Abuja, however, said the association would support a candidate that showed commitment to end the suffering of its members after the conclusion of party primaries.
According to the association it has said far higher needs for money to assist its members being uprooted and killed in the South East and several other States than buying forms for politicians.
Our Correspondent reports that the media space has been washed with the news indicating that the association purchased form for the former president to enable him contest next year president-general poll on the platform for of APC.
