Apostolic Church Television Appoints Fagorite as GM, Eyes Growth Through Experience

The management of the Apostolic Church Television Station, Lagos, has appointed Pastor Francis Oloruntobi Fagorite as its new General Manager, a move expected to strengthen the station’s vision and expand its reach within and beyond Nigeria.

This is contained in a statement signed by the general manager and made available to The Reporters in Lokoja on Thursday

He described the television station as the official voice of the Church in Nigeria.

According to pastor Fagorite,established in 2013, the station has continued to serve as a platform for propagating the message and activities of the Apostolic Church both locally and internationally, while also projecting its global identity.

Pastor Fagorite brings to the position a rich blend of academic excellence, spiritual leadership, and professional media experience, positioning him as a capable hand to drive the station’s growth and productivity.

He holds a Master of Arts degree in Theology and Development from the University of Jos, a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the University of Abuja, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism from the International Institute of Journalism.

Beyond his academic credentials, the new General Manager is a multifaceted professional,serving as a pastor, author, historian, journalist, and social commentator.

His wide-ranging experience across religious, intellectual, and media spheres is expected to enhance content quality, deepen audience engagement, and strengthen the station’s strategic communication.

Until his appointment, Pastor Fagorite served as the Image maker of the Apostolic Church in Lokoja, Kogi State, where he distinguished himself in projecting the church’s activities and values through effective communication and media relations.

His performance in that role has been widely acknowledged as instrumental in boosting the church’s public image in the region.

Observers believe that his combined experience in theology, governance, and journalism will bring a unique perspective to the management of the station.

His understanding of both the spiritual mission of the church and the dynamics of modern media is expected to drive innovation, improve programming, and expand the station’s outreach to a broader audience.

With his appointment, stakeholders express confidence that Apostolic Church Television Station will witness renewed vitality, professionalism, and increased impact as it continues to serve as a vital communication arm of the church worldwide.
