The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State has released the official timetable for its Local Government Election activities, with a renewed pledge to guarantee a transparent, inclusive, and credible process for all aspirants.

Speaking at a press briefing on Tuesday at the party’s state secretariat in Lokoja, the APC State Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Bello (Dollar), reaffirmed the party’s commitment to internal democracy and strict adherence to the schedule issued by the Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission (SIEC).

Bello told journalists that the APC remains grounded in fairness and unity, urging all aspirants to participate fully and without fear.
“Our party is committed to conducting a rancour-free, transparent process. We urge every aspirant to pursue their ambitions strictly within the guidelines of the APC and SIEC. No one will be sidelined,” he assured.

He commended party members and supporters across the state for their unwavering loyalty to the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, noting that such support has remained the backbone of the party’s continued success.

According to him, the achievements recorded by the Ododo administration reflect the collective dedication of APC faithful who have consistently placed the interest of the state above personal or political considerations.

Bello, who spoke on behalf of the Governor and party leadership, restated the administration’s commitment to equitable development for all communities, regardless of political leaning.
“We are one family and one state. The Ododo administration is focused on delivering development with fairness and equity,” he said.

With preparations for the Local Government Elections intensifying, the APC chairman appealed for calm, unity, and peaceful engagement throughout the process.

He stressed that sportsmanship must guide all aspirants, adding that the people of Kogi State would ultimately be the winners and encouraged aspirants and their supporters to forward any grievances to the party secretariat for prompt attention, assuring that transparency would guide every stage of the process.

He also called on members to remain vigilant and committed to the ideals that have sustained the APC as the dominant political force in Kogi State.
