Democracy Day: Kogi Poly Rector Hails Governor Ododo’s Focussed Leadership

As Nigeria marks the 2025 Democracy Day, the management of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, has extended warm felicitations to Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo,the Governor of Kogi State, and the people of the state for their steadfast commitment to democratic growth and development.

The Rector in a goodwill message signed by Uredo Omale,Director, Public Relations and Protocol of institution,the Rector praised Governor Ododo for his focused leadership and bold steps toward consolidating the gains of the past while laying the foundation for future progress.

“His early strides in consolidating on the gains of the past while charting a bold path for the future have been inspiring and impactful,” Professor Usman noted.

He reaffirmed the Polytechnic’s unwavering commitment to supporting the Governor’s educational vision through academic excellence, civic responsibility, and a culture of nation-building.

The Rector expressed confidence that under Governor Ododo’s visionary leadership, the education sector in Kogi State would continue to flourish.

Professor Usman called on citizens to remain peaceful, united, and active in the democratic process and urged them to harness their diversity and collective strength in the pursuit of a more prosperous state and nation.

The Rector congratulated the Governor, the people of Kogi State, and Nigerians at large on the special occasion, praying for continued peace, progress, and the deepening of democracy across the country.
