Muslims have been advised to be consistent in the worship of Allah as they strive for spiritual emancipation in the last ten days of the Ramadan.

The Chief Imam of Zawiyya Masjid, Lokoja, Khalifa Abubakar Ibrahim Na Jirji, made the call in Lokoja on Tuesday while delivering a lecture organised by the Muslim Media Practitioners of Nigeria with the topic, “Ending The Ramadan.”

The Imam pointed out that the last 10 days of the Ramadan offered utmost benefits for the Muslims, adding that the period is blessed with Lailatul Qadr, the night of Majesty, I’tikaf, Zakatul fitri among other bounties inherent.

The Cleric urged the Ummah to maximise the period with intensified night prayers, supplication, Azkaar and the giving of charity to attain the blessings of the month.

Earlier in a remark, the Coordinator, MNPN, Kogi State Chapter, Alhaji Muhammed Abubakar Abdulsalam, explained that the lecture was part of efforts by the chapter to create awareness and propagate Islam

He, however solicited for continued support from members for the growth and development of the of the chapter.

Alhaji Abdulsalam appreciated the lecturer for his time, promising to escalate the messages of the presentation for the benefit of the Ummah.

In her remarks, State Secretary of MMPN, Malama Berikisu Abdullahi, prayed Allah to grant members the blessings of the season and urged them not to relent in making their contributions for the development of the chapter.
