By Correspondent in Minna.

A member of motorcycle and bicycle spare parts dealers in Niger state, Ifeanyi Ozoka, said to have committed his financial resources in training jobless youths in Minna, Niger state capital, has been murdered, allegedly by gangsters in the area.

In reaction to the tragic developmnt, the dealers stagged peaceful demonstration in Minna with a call on the state government to as a matter of urgency, fish out killers of Ozoka.

Speaking with Journalists at the occasion, the leader of the dealers, Mr. Eugene Nwanosike, expressed concern that the safety of his members was no longer guaranteed in the state due to the activities of cultists and other criminal elements, adding that the state government should end the ugly ddevelopment.

Our Correspondent reports that the members, whose shops had been under lock and keys since the gruesome murder of Ozorka, were seen gathered at Ogbomoso street for the protest with various inscriptions and later proceeded to Lagos street, calling for justice for late Ozoka.

According to him, the gangsters have been bragging that nobody could do them anything, boasting that not even the government can stop their activities.

Nwanosike said: ā€œWe are mourning one of our own. We are no longer safe to do our businesses in Niger state. We are peace-loving people, and we want the government to bring his killers to bookā€.

The protesters, after the peaceful protest, later retired to the residence of the late Ozorka to pay condolence visit to his widow,Chioma who sources said narrowly escaped death as she hid herself inside their shop, clutching her three months old baby and watching as her husband was being stabbed to death by the gangsters.
