The Chairman of Jama’atu Nasril Islam(JNI), Amb. Usman Bello, has commended the Senator representing Kogi East in the National Assembly, Senator Jibril Isa Echocho for banking with Allah by building a mosque for Efikelegu Muslim Community in Dekina Local Governnent Area of kogi state

This is contained in a release made available to The Reporters, an online publication in Lokoja by Alhaji Suleiman Ibrahim, Head, Media and Publicity, JNI, Kogi State on Monday.

Ibrahim qouted Am.Bello as giving the commendation at Efikelegu while unveiling the mosque where he called on other able bodied Muslims to emulate Senator Jibril Isa Echocho by “opening accounts with their Creator”.

Amba. Bello, who was represented by the State Secretary, Alhaji Isa Adeboye, described Senator Echocho as a politician with a difference, whose thirst for a favourable meeting with God remained unparalleled and stressed the need for others so endowed to emulate Echocho’s consciousness of the hereafter.

He congratulated the Muslim Community of Efikelegu for being lucky to be blessed with a unique place of worship, urging them to ensure it’s proper care at all times.

The JNI leader prayed fervently for the Chief Imam of Abocho, Ustaz Suleiman Dansoho, who fronted the project, urging him not to be tired, adding thatthere was more work to do for Allah and expreeesed satisfaction on Imam Dansoho’s sincerity which he noted ensured that fund released for the project was judiciously utilized.

In an admonition, the Imam of JNI Mosque, Lokoja, Alhaji Usman Tauheed, called on the less endowed to also compete in amassing Allah’s reward for doing good.

Imam Tauheed said there were other things Muslims could do to earn Allah’s favours, including calling people from evil to good, good neighborliness, ensuring a God- fearing family among others.

Speaking earlier on how it all began, Imam Suleiman Dansoho said Senator Echocho saw the picture of the sorry sight of the Mosque and picked interest and sought to build it to earn Allah’s reward, hence a befitting mosque presented to the Community at the occasion.

Our Correspondent reports that the State Treasurer of JNI, Alhaji Musa Abdulkareem Audu, Chairman, Council of Ulamau in Dekina LGA, Ustaz Muhammad Azakiru, Kogi East Zonal Coordinator of JNI, Alhaji Mesuna Malle Idris among others attended the occasion.
