Nigerians have been urged to act, live and speak out for a better Nigeria.
The Director of the National Orientation Agency in Anambra state,Bar. Charles Nwoji, gave the advice on Tuesday in Awka while presenting a certificate of participation in the programme, tagged “For A Better Nigeria Video Contest” to Mr Fortune Anagor of Mmiata Anam in Anambra West Local Government Area of the state.
The correspondent of The Reporters recalls that the programme took place in Abuja last year ,organised
by the headquarters of NOA in Abuja. .
The NOA boss in the state noted that Anagor was among the 14 persons drawn from the 36 tates of the federation that come first in the competition.
Nwoji said that the Video contest was designed for the people to actively and freely participate in progressive national conversation by sharing one minute patriotic video messages on social media.
He, therefore, urged. Anagor to always exhibit the good qualities that made him to participate in the contest.
While describing Mr. Anagor as a National Champion, the NOA Director, assured him that the Agency would not hesitate to invite him to the Agency ‘s youths programmes as one of the State’s youths ambassadors aimed at advocating for unity and vibrant synergy to make Nigeria great again.
The NOA boss also advised Anagor to work toward encouraging Nigerians in his network to act, live and speak out for a better Nigeria, saying that what mattered most in the event was the intrinsic value he demonstrated during the competition and not the package presented to him by NOA.
Nwoji reminded him that by the dictate of the event,he had become a worthy ambassador of Anambra State and Nigerian youths in general.
Receiving the certificate, Anagor said that in the Video Contest, he saw Nigerian leaders as heroes, but regretted that the country was currently passing through vicious, pensive conditions.
He, however, expressed optimism in Nigeria becoming be great again, if only the people could forget their differences and toe the path of unity.
