Kogi Assembly confirms appointment of CJ

The Kogi State House of Assembly has confirmed the appointment of Justice Henry Olusuyi as the State Chief Judge.

The confirmation of the Chief Judge followed the recommendation of Justice Olusuyi by the National Judicial Council to Governor Yahaya Bello.

With the confirmation of Justice Olusuyi by the Assembly, he becomes the substantive Chief Judge of the State, after his appointment four months ago by the GovernorGov.

The Assembly at its Tuesday plenary, in a unanimous vote, confirmed the appointment of the State Chief Judge.

Justice Olusuyi is the third Chief Judge of the State, after Justice Umoru Eri, Justice Nasiru Ajanah.
