The Kogi State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has called on security agencies in the state unravel the killers of its woman leader, Mrs Salome Acheju Abuh in Ochadamu in Ofu Local Government Area of the state in 2019 for them to face justice.

The State Publicity Secretary of the party, Mr Bode Ogunmola, made the call in a statement he released in Lokoja on Tuesday, in rememberance of the deceased.

He lamented that almost a year after the Mrs Abuh was burnt alive in her house during the 2019 governorship election, she was yet to get justice.

The party scribe said the party would continue to remember late Mrs Abuh for her courage and ccommitment to the party and her doggedness, forthrightness during the November 2019 Governorship Election, in the state.

Ogunmola described the deceased as a wife, mother and a true Patriot whose love for the state remains unrivalled with unquenchable love for the party and the state and
an Amazon who paid the supreme price for democracy and good governance.

According to Ogunmola, Mrs Abuh was
“a martyr, political celebrity, an institution who suffered this fate for Democracy in Nigeria.”

The state Publicity Secretary, who said that “The PDP would forever remember the deceased for her sacrifice to enthone good governance,” prayed God to continue to grant her soul rest and the family she left behind, the fortitude to continue to bear the unfortunate loss.
