Breaking:Former Kaduna state Governor, Balarabe Musa dies at 84

A one-time Governor of Kaduna state,Alhaji Balarabe Musa (84) is dead.

His daughter, Hajia Zulai Musa,made the disclosure in Kaduna on Wednesday while confirming her father’s death.

According to her, the deceased will be buried on Wednesday afternoon in Kaduna.

The Reporters recalls that Musa, a trained accountant before joining politics in the 70s,hewas elected governor of Kaduna state in 1979 on the platform of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP).

His brand of politics was focused on the masses in consonance with the philosophy of PRP, the party he was the National chairman until recently when he had to resign due to ill-health.

According to history, Musa, the Second Republic governor of Kaduna State,was the first governor in the Nigerian political development to be impeached.
