COVID:19: SAN donates N10m toward Kwara COVID-19 efforts

A frontline legal luminary based in Kwara State, Prince Lateef Olasunkanmi Fagbemi (SAN), has donated N10 million toward ensuring the success efforts of the state government to stop Coronavirus from spreading to the state.

The lawyer announced the donation in a letter he signed and made a copy available to Duaglobalnews, an online medium in Lokoja, kogi state on Wednesday.

He implored other well to do individuals,within and outside kwara state,to support the kwara state government’s efforts aimed at stopping the spread of Coronavirus to the state.

The SAN said such gesture became Imperative, given “this trying period in the health sector relating to the surge in the spread of coronavirus ravaging the country and the world at large.”

He commended the foresight of Governor Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State at fighting spread of Coronavirus ravaging the world.

Fagbemi specifically lauded the selfless efforts of the governor and that of his administration, at protecting the people of the state from the ravaging scourge of the virus which has so far registered 174 cases and the world is battling to contain as at April 1.

He expressed confidence in the ability of the governor to contain the spread of the virus,noting with delight that Kwara had not registered any case of the Coronavirus.

The Senior Advocate enjoined the state governments not to relent in their efforts to better the lot of the populace.
