Emir of Kano commends Ebiras in Kano for peaceful disposition

The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, has described the Ebiras living in Kano state as good people with hospitality, known for always staying peacefully in with their host community.

The monarch made the remark on Tuesday when the Ohinoyi Anebira in charge of Kano/Jigawa states, Alhaji A. A. Abdulmalik, paid him a courtesy visit in his palace in Kano.

The traditional ruler also showered special encomium on the Ohinoyi Anebira and his people for their good conduct and character in the state, adding that he and his Palace men were happy to receive him and Ebira people in his Palace.

Earlier, the Ohinoyi Anebira said he and his entourage were in the Palace for a courtesy visit to further cement the age-long cordial relationship between the people of Kano and the Ebiras in the state.

Abdulmalik prayed for long life, Allah’s guidance and protection for the Emir and his people.

Duaglobalnews reports that the Ohinoyi Anebira was accompanied on the occasion by 21 members of his entourage and were received by the Palace officials who ushered them to the reception room and later, received by His Royal Highness, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero.

The entourage include the Onobas, Council members, Caretaker Chairman and Secretary of Ebira Peoples’ Association, Kano/Jigawa Branch.

The occasion was led in prayer by a Council member of the Ohinoyi Anebira, Kano/Jigawa, Malam Ishaq of Aviation quarters, Kano, followed by Emir Aminu Ado Bayero who was full of happiness and joy to have Ohinoyi Anebira, Kano/Jigawa and his litany of Entourage in his Palace.

The online publication recalls that Abdulmalik became the Ohinoyi of Kano/Jigawa states, 24 years ago and has achieved immensely as exemplified by the peaceful co-existence of his people with their host communities in the two states.
