One of the things I do is media consultancy. I help customers to develop and put their ideas on tv, radio and other media. Yesterday, I had an interesting session with a client. She has many fantastic ideas that can be developed for tv and radio programmes. What has hindered her from starting for a very long time is knowing which idea to start with. Remember I told you the ideas are all very, very nice.
The trouble we mostly have in taking decision is when we have many options bugging the mind.
You cannot stop the mind from roaming over ideas, concerns or adding to them, but what you can do is to start working on them. The question is ,out of the lots which to start from just like my client. Most time it can be difficult to know, but if you observe carefully, just like when you have many contestants to score, out of the many, there will always be one that will stand out.
Put your thoughts together today and pick on those issues that have to be dealt with. Which of them keep popping up for recognition? Which one do you have the greater ability to handle for now? Keep putting the issues to such situation tests. In the end it will be clear where to start from. The hardest thing is to get started. It does not matter if you do not start well. It is from not too good starting that you begin to get your corrections.
