Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, has expressed deep sadness and shock by the passing of HRM, Oba Julius Olufunsho Joledo (JP), The Elulu of Mopa land and Chairman of the Mopamuro Traditional Council in the state.
Governor Bello,who expressed the grief in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, ONOGWU Muhammed,and copied The Reporters on Wednesday in Lokoja, described Oba Joledo as a compassionate and development-focused royal leader who dedicated his life to serving his people selflessly.
Bello extended his heartfelt condolences to the family, the Mopa Traditional Council, and the Mopamuro Traditional Council, adding that he recognized the significant loss they had endured.

Governor Bello acknowledged the wisdom, integrity, and remarkable conflict resolution skills of Kabiesi, which he noted would be greatly missed.
The governor,who prayed for the peaceful repose of the King’s soul,encouraged everyone to remember the era of HRM Oba Julius Olufunsho Joledo JP as a time of peace, prosperity.
He,therefore, urged all to continue to live in harmony with one another.
HRM Oba Julius Olufunsho Joledo, JP, passed on at the age of 83.
