Public Office Holders Association of Nigeria (POHAN), has congratulated the new Head of Service (HOS) of the Federation, Dr Folashade Yemi-Esan.
Duaglobalnews recalls that the President, Muhammadu Buhari, confirmed the appointment of Yemi-Esan about a week ago.
The National President of POHAN, Bashorun Deola Eseyin,who felicitated with the new HOS in a statement in Lokoja, said that her appointment and confirmation by the president was progressive and worthy.
Eseyin described the new HOS as an industrious woman, capable of performing excellently in her new assignment.
He noted that Yemi-Esan was an experience public officer who had served the nation in different capacities and had over the years delivered.
He stressed that POHAN, without any doubt, reposed confidence in Yemi-Esan’s ability to put in her best in the discharge of her duty.
He assured that the association, being the parent umbrella body for both former and serving public office holders in Nigeria, would work mutually with her to ensure the total reformation of the civil service.
Eseyin expressed optimism that such cooperation would prompt delivery of dividends of democracy to the masses.
He prayed God for divine wisdom for the HOS, to effectively deliver on the duty she had been called to serve the nation.
According to the association, that Yemi-Esan is a high ranking public officer and a great ambassador of the body.
Yemi-Esan, a Dental surgeon, who succeeded Dr Winifred Oyo-Ita,acted in the capacity of HOS for about six months before she was confirmed and sworn-in by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The event took place on February 28 in Abuja.
