The Soun of Ogbomosho land in Oyo State, Oba Jimoh Oyewunmi Ajagungbade III, who died on Sunday at Ogbomosho at the of 85 has, been buried according to Islamic injunction.
Our Correspondent reports that the burial of the first class Oba took place at about 4:30p.m inside a vault in the palace with thousands of mourners from many sstrata of the society in attendance.
They include prominent personalities such as the Oyo State Deputy Governor, Rauf Olaniyan, Ex-governors Rashidi Ladoja and Adebayo Alao-Akala, the Chief of Staff to the Oyo State Governor, Segun Ogunwuyi, Senator Fatai BBuhar a d Senator Ayo Adeseun among others.
Nigerians from all walks of life received the shocking news of the death of Soun, whose reign lasted 48 years on Sunday morning.
