Breaking: Abducted students of Salihu Tanko Islamic School in Niger regain freedom

Over 130 pupils of the Salihu Tanko Islamiyya school, Tegina in Rafi Local Government Area of Niger state have been released by their abductors 86 days in captivity.

Though details of how they were rescued and the number of the children who died in captivity could not be immediately ascertained on Thursday,the online publication gathered that about three of them died in the armed bandits’ den.

The rescued children are said to be on their way to Minna, the state capital as at the time of this report.
