The recent developments in PDP Anambra State,as we wind down to the November 6 guber election in Anambra State, remains a tough one but that is if the party fails to handle it with every sense of articulation and carefulness. If not, this might cause a very sad reality to the fate of the party emerging victorious come November 6.

Hence, there are strong indications pointing to the fact that the primary election that produced Ugochukwu Uba, where Mr Godwin Ezeemo came near second stand to be the legitimate one according to court order. The onus is now on PDP Anambra State to throw away every form of sentiment and face the challenges on ground, irrespective of who is right or wrong.

The litigations would at the long run cause unforseen damages to the image of the party which was on the high side before the primary election.

Therefore, with Mr Godwin Ezeemo, who stands out with high proven antecedents of Job creation in the state, industrialization, Social entrepreneurial engagements, and a much realistic manifesto that would sell the PDP agenda faster to Anambrarians, coming in as the consensus candidate. This will go a long way to restore and resolve the current differences that is on the verge of limiting the party’s chances of making it to Agu Awka.

Mr Ezeemo remains the only available entrance with a span of input across the three senatorial zones in the state, hence his wide acceptability would be much welcomed by all PDP members, irrespective of faction.

PDP Anambra State should avoid placing the cart before the horse in this most important and decisive November 6 guber election.
