A passionate appel has gone to the Kogi State Government, to as a matter of urgency, fix the Okoro Gbede-Ayeh Gbede Road which suffering deplorable condition.
The Reporters reports that Okoro gbede-Ayeh is located in the Western Senatorial district of the state.
The people of the village made the appeal through the President of Ayeh Gbede Development Union, Comrade Israel Oshafunmi at the 49th Ayeh Gbede Day at Ayeh Gbede, Ijumu Local Government Area.

Isreal, who expressed concern that the road ramained the major problem befalling the community, said: “Our road has been in a deplorable condition due to the erosion during the last raining season.
” We pray that God shall send a helper to facilitate the reconstruction or at least grading the road for us. Our roads have been our major problem as a community.”
He emphasized the need for unity among the people of the area, adding that unity “is the only tool for progress and development of Ayeh Gbede community.”
Oshafunmi further said:“I want to emphasise that, our unity as a community, is critical and non-negotiable at this point in time. We cannot afford to be divided at this point of our history. What some communities around us can do and get away with it, we cannot afford to venture into it.l.
“This is a critical time that we need to come together and pray in unity for God to liberate us as a community. Any group that is beating drums of disunity should be seen as an enemy of our community. “Our Intra-community rivalries should be looked into for amicable settlement.
“The elders in the community should adopt a conflict resolution mechanism to resolve any conflict immediately.”
He paid glowing tribute to the late Executive member of the Union, Elder Raphael Ekundayo Tolorunleke who died early this year.
“We pray that God shall give the immediate family, friends and the entire community the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss of this patriot,”he added.
