From Abuja

The 36 APC State Chairmen today passed vote of confidence on the Gov. Buni led Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Committee.

A statement by Mal. Mamman Mohammed, Director-General, Press and Media Affairs to the Governor said the chairmen unanimously passed the vote of confidence in a meeting they held at the national headquarters of the party in Abuja.

Alhaji Bukar Dalori, chairman of the APC Chairmen Forum, moved the motion for the vote of confidence and was seconded by the Benue state Chairman, Comrade Abba Yaro, which was unanimously endorsed by the chairmen.

The chairmen described the so-called concerned APC members who gave the committee 14 days ultimatum to process elections as job seekers doing a hatchet job for faceless persons.
