The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reduced the ex-depot price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), popularly known as petrol, from ₦850 to ₦820 per litre.
The adjustment, representing a ₦30 drop, takes effect from August 12, 2025, according to a statement issued on Tuesday by the Group’s Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina.
“As part of our unwavering commitment to national development, Dangote Petroleum Refinery assures the public of a consistent and uninterrupted supply of petroleum products,” he said.
The refinery also announced plans to begin the phased deployment of 4,000 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-powered trucks for fuel distribution across Nigeria from August 15, 2025, in a bid to enhance operational efficiency and promote sustainable energy solutions.
