Late of Malm Yusuf Balarebe Isah.

The death of Mallam Yusuf Balarebe Isah, Director of Administration of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kogi State, has been described as a tragic loss and “one death too many” for the party.

In separate condolence messages on Tuesday in Lokoja, the PDP Organizing Secretary, Hon. Abdulkadir Ibrahim, and two former members of the House of Representatives, Hon. Shaba Ibrahim and Hon. TJ Yusuf, expressed grief over the passing of the party chieftain.

They described Balarebe’s demise as “unfortunate” and coming at a time when his wise counsel was greatly needed in repositioning the party in the state.

“We cannot question Almighty Allah. We are consoled by the fact that the late Balarebe was the face of the PDP, having served as Administrative Secretary for a long time and, until his death, as Director of Administration.

“We pray Allah grants him Aljanat Firdaus and gives his family and the PDP the fortitude to bear this loss,” the leaders said.

Hon. TJ Yusuf added,“We have lost a reservoir of administrative wisdom. He was a staunch pillar of our party and will be greatly missed.”

Our correspondent gathered that Balarebe died in Lokoja on Tuesday sequel to an illness.
