The Senator Sunday Steve Karimi Education Foundation, in partnership with the Tinubu Support Group, has announced the smooth continuation of the registration process for its ₦300 million bursary scheme targeted at 3,000 indigenes of Kogi State in public tertiary institutions across Nigeria.

The foundation disclosed that initial technical glitches experienced on Friday, August 1, and Saturday, August 2, 2025, have been fully resolved by its technical team, ensuring a seamless experience for applicants.

In a public notice issued, by DSSK MEDIA TEAM and made available to The Reporters in Lokoja on Saturday, the organisers urged students who registered during the affected days but did not receive a confirmation email or faced technical hitches to revisit the bursary portal and reapply to secure their spot.

“As of 6:00 p.m. today, we have received over 500 applications in just one day and a total of 3,061 confirmed applications so far. Eligible students are encouraged to register before the August 31, 2025 deadline, as no late entries will be accepted,” the notice read.

The bursary, worth ₦100,000 per beneficiary, is designed to support the educational pursuits of Kogi indigenes, reflecting Senator Karimi’s commitment to promoting academic excellence and student welfare in the state.

The senator assured that the selection process will be fair, transparent, and efficient.
