Summit University, Offa, Kwara State, has recorded a major academic milestone with the successful accreditation of six of its academic programmes by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
This is contained in a statement from the office of the Vice Chancellor of the university in Offa and a copy available to The Reporters on Monday
All six programmes presented in the latest accreditation exercise have been granted full accreditation status, valid for five years.
The accredited programmes include:
B.Sc. Microbiology
B.Sc. Biochemistry
B.Sc. Computer Science
B.Sc. Accounting
B.Sc. Business Administration
B.Sc. Political Science
This achievement reflects Summit University’s commitment to academic excellence, quality assurance, and continuous improvement in line with national and international standards.
The rigorous NUC evaluation involved detailed assessments of curriculum, staffing, infrastructure, and learning outcomes—all of which met or exceeded expectations.
