The General Directorate of Passports has announced that a total of 1,102,469 pilgrims arrived in Saudi Arabia from abroad by the end of Monday, May 26, through the Kingdom’s air, land, and sea entry points.

According to the directorate, 1,044,341 pilgrims entered via airports, 53,850 through land border crossings, and 4,278 by sea.

The directorate reaffirmed its commitment to facilitating pilgrims’ entry by equipping all international ports with advanced technologies operated by highly trained, multilingual personnel.

Saudi Arabia has finalized comprehensive preparations for a smooth and seamless Hajj, featuring digital integration and enhanced service delivery. Authorities emphasized the Kingdom’s dedication to utilizing all available resources to ensure a safe and comfortable pilgrimage.

These efforts, they noted, are in line with the directives of the Kingdom’s leadership and align with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030,aimed at improving the quality of Hajj services and enabling pilgrims to perform their rituals with ease and peace of mind.
