The seeming rift between members of the Kogi Unity Movement (KUM) and the Women in Agriculture Cooperative Federation (WIACF) was finally laid to rest on Wednesday, as both groups agreed to put their differences aside in the interest of Kogi State’s unity.
Our correspondent reports that the rift,rooted in a personal dispute,was amicably resolved during a joint meeting of the two groups held at the office of WIACF in Lokoja.
The meeting provided an opportunity for members,especially those directly involved in the rift,to openly address the root causes of the dispute, emphasize forgiveness, and reaffirm their commitment to working together for the unity and development of Kogi State.
Members expressed delight that the rift between them had finally been resolved, paving the way for lasting peace and allowing both groups to forge ahead in pursuing their aims and objectives,not only for their personal benefit but also for the collective progress of Kogi State.
A major highlight of the meeting was the warm embrace shared by members in attendance ,a gesture that underscored the sincerity of both groups in their renewed commitment to peace.
