Mr.Abdulrahim Sunday Oni.
The Ebira People’s Association (EPA) Lafia Chapter has extended heartfelt congratulations to Abdulrahim Sunday Oni, also known as Balance Sheet, following his victory in court.

The association recalled that High Court sitting in Keffi recently dismissed all charges against Oni, bringing an end to a prolonged legal battle.

In a ruling delivered by Justice Abdullahi Ozegya at High Court II, all four charges against Oni were struck out due to lack of evidence.

As a result, Oni was acquitted and discharged, ending a four-year-long case that centered around accusations of sexual misconduct.

The case, strongly pursued by Alhaji Hassan Chatta, a prominent Egbira leader in Nasarawa State, was brought to a close with the court’s decision.

Alhaji Chatta, who has been a tireless advocate for justice for Ebira sons and daughters at both the state and national levels, expressed his satisfaction with the ruling.

As the leader of Egbira Opete in Nasarawa State, Chatta’s unwavering commitment to ensuring justice for his people has been evident throughout the case.

The Chairman of the EPA Lafia Chapter, Comrade Yahaya Bello, also congratulated Abdulrahim Sunday Oni, Alhaji Chatta, and all those who supported and stood for justice in this matter.

In light of the judgment, the Odeyani of Nasarawa, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq, urged the Egbira Opete people in the state to embrace peace and foster a spirit of forgiveness, emphasizing the importance of unity among the community moving forward.
