The Kogi State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has extended heartfelt condolences to the Vice President of Zone D, Alhaji Adeiza Momohjimoh, following the passing of his wife, Hajia Hussaina Adeiza.

The Council’s Chairman, Alhaji Ademu Seidu Haruna, led a delegation to the VP’s hometown of Inese in Adavi Local Government Area.

During the visit, Haruna urged the bereaved to take solace in the belief that the loss was in line with Allah’s will.

He described the Council’s reception of the news with deep shock but acknowledged that Hajia Hussaina had gone to be with her Creator.

Speaking at the event, the Managing Director/CEO of Graphic Newspaper, Mr. Yusuf Itopa, expressed his sympathy and emphasized that the loss was a test of faith.

He encouraged Alhaji Adeiza to remain steadfast, acknowledging that life and death are ultimately determined by Allah.

In his response, Alhaji Adeiza Momohjimoh described his wife’s passing as a painful experience but affirmed his acceptance of Allah’s decree.

He expressed gratitude to the NUJ delegation for their unwavering support and their presence at the three-day Fidau prayers held in her honor.
