The Borno State Government, says it has lost its Commissioner for Finance, Ahmad Ali Ahmad.

The Commissioner for Information and Internal Security, Usman Tar, broke the sad news in a statement he signed in Maiduguri on Monday, a copy of which is made available to The Reporters.

According to Tar, the deceased was buried 5 p.m on Monday, at his family residence on Damboa Road, behind the Indimi residence in Maiduguri.

Our correspondent gathered that the Commissioner, who was seen hale and hearty on Sunday, died in his sleep.
